Do you feel like the average pro age will increase over time?

I've been wondering this for a while now. My running theory is that the rate of improvement in terms of speed and mechanical ability is slowing down compared to the ridiculous rate of improvement seen over the earlier seasons of RLCS. The age of professional players is pretty young in comparison to other esports, and it feels like it's because a lot of younger players started to play the game in an era where almost all possible useful mechanics have been discovered, allowing them to learn them earlier than legacy professional players who had thousands of hours and muscle memory they had to change in order to learn new mechanics after being discovered.

Since RL is such a young scene, I feel like we are starting to see the limits of what you can achieve in terms of pure mechanics and speed, so the average age of RLCS pros will slowly begin to increase. With this plateau in individual skill and speed, I feel as though those at the top in a couple years will be able to maintain form for a lot longer than previous professionals, as they won't need to 'keep up' with a fast changing game environment. With that I feel as though strategy and gameplan will be more important than scouting the next mechy player, because everyone at the top will have similar level, aside from outliers.

TL;DR: Rate of improvement for speed and mechanics is slowing, meaning current and near future pros won't need to 'keep up' as much as the old pros had to.

What do you guys think about this?
