Speedflip issues

Hy!
Im having a bit of a troubble with speedflipping.
i can do the flip cancel motion i see that my car rotates the good way but when my flip cancel finishes and I'm trying to powerslide i keep going upwards not on the ground.
Basically im starting to fly upwards. I see that i need to press the boost the whole way through so i don't know the issue why I keep going up
