I get that standardizing cars has done a lot of good for the game, but it'd be nice to have a bit more variety than just the five few hitboxes we've had for the past two years. Not only were some of the cars from before standardization a genuine blast to play, but a few of them likely could have stood alongside cars like the Octane, Dominus, and Batmobile if given a proper chance.
I know a lot of players are happy with their car of choice, so I realize I'm likely in the minority here. But honestly? Even two years later, at the point where I've played enough 1v1s to momentarily sneak into top 100 this season, I still don't really love any of the current hitboxes. It's not even that they're bad; all five are very solid choices, competitively speaking. Just... none of them feel like they quite click with me the way some of the older hitboxes did.
I don't know. I don't want to ramble on, because I don't want this to become a tl;dr. It'd just be nice to see Psyonix experiment with new hitboxes again, even just a little.
