The offseason is rapidly coming to an end, and the kickoff to RLCS S7 is nigh.

I'm excited to say that with the coming of League play also comes RLG's seasonal Fantasy League. Once again you'll get a chance to pick your players, and compete against other Managers to be the very best.

What is the RLG Fantasy League?

• ​Just like Fantasy football, or hockey, RLG Fantasy League allows you to sign up, pick RLCS players, and gain Points based on your picks' performances in League Play. Compete against thousands of others (or just your friends) to be the Manager Supreme.

How do I play?

1. Go to https://fantasy.rocket-league.com/
2. If you haven't already, create an account
3. Click on My Team
4. Pick your players, fitting under the $10,000 budget (you can change them as many as you want before rosters lock before Week 1 of League Play starts)
5. Invite your friends, and compete against them in Leagues

How much does it cost?

• It's 100% Free!

Are there !rewards?

• Absolutely. We’re giving out Keys for managers that finish in the top 3 -- 1st Place: 75 Keys, 2nd Place: 50 Keys, 3rd Place: 25 Keys.
• Winners will be reached out to via email when the season concludes.

What's new this season?

• Bench removed: That's right... this season, since all teams play every week we're removing the bench player. What we found last season was that everyone picked a low value player, stuck them on the bench and never looked back. This season, with no safety net, your choices will matter all the more.
• SAM: RLGFantasy welcomes SAM to the Fantasy League. For their inaugural season we don't have as many statistics as we'd like, but have worked closely with those familiar with the local scene. When in doubt, we've opted towards a higher salary for SAM players until we get a better sense of what they can do. Note that SAM qualifiers occur next weekend; players will be added shortly after qualifiers are complete. Note as well that until the season officially starts you can move make infinite changes to your starting 6.

Things you should probably know:

• There's a FAQ. Master the rules to give yourself the best chance to win!
• Seriously, read the FAQ
• Players statistics from last season can be found on Octane.gg (EU, NA, OCE)
• You can switch players' positions by dragging the position from one player to another, or using the text interface at the bottom of the page.
• You can freely change all of your players before rosters lock, one hour before League Play begins (on Saturday, April 6th).
• You can make two (2) roster switches per week. Use them to get the most out of your team.
• When a player plays two series in a week, their points are averaged, and NOT added. (e.g. if Ferra gets 415 points in his first series, and 505 in his second, he would have 460 points for that week).
• Once a player has requested to join a League, the Owner of the League must accept them before they are added.
• Leagues that don't have at least four (4) managers will be removed at the start of the season.
• Players salaries were mathematically determined using:
  • League Play stats from the last two seasons
  • Fantasy average and best week from the last two seasons
  • Scavenged other statistics from Octane.gg
• Player salaries were also reviewed by a panel of seeders, power rankers, and other Rocket League luminaries. They aided in applying manual corrections (for incorporating details like players playing on new teams, new regions, etc...).

How do the points work?

• Each player receives Points for the games they play. The points are calculated by adding the following together:
  • Score * 1 (e.g. 285)
  • Goals * 50 (e.g. 1 * 50 = 50)
  • Assists * 25 (e.g. 1 * 25 = 25)
  • Saves * 25 (e.g. 3 * 25 = 75
  • Shots * 15 (e.g. 4 * 15 = 60)
• A player receives bonus points based on their position:
  • An Attacker gets double points for their Goals
  • A Midfielder gets double points for their Assists
  • A Defender gets double points for their Saves
• The points that a player earns for all games in the series are averaged
• If a player plays two (2) series in a week, the points that a player earns for all series in the week are averaged.
