BROKEN END OF GAME REWARD?

My friend gave me a Lime Wildcat Ears before a match, we then queued up for the match and their team left after I scored. At the end of the game, it said I got lime wildcat ears - only to go back to my inventory and only see one.. Anybody know the reason for this? I can upload a video of me getting it but I forgot to take a picture of my inventory :/
