I need help and what better place to look than Reddit. I thought my search skills were good but I cant seem to find the answers I need so I am hoping one of you can point me in the right direction.

Judging by the posts here I, like a lot of other drummers, was waiting with baited breath to use my kit for Rockband 4 (xbox 1). I bought everything others said was needed. The midi adapter, my PDP adapter came in a few days ago and i even upgraded my kit. I did have a DM6 but first changed the module to a 10, which didn't work out so well for, well, anything and decided to upgrade everything and bought the Strike. SO! Now I am sitting on this sweet kit, which is fun to play as a regular kit, cause I pretend to actually be a drummer on weekends, but I want to use it for rockband!

Basically, what I am looking for is kind of a step by step as far as getting this thing to work. Almost everything I have read almost made it sound like it is plug and play but I must be daft cause it hasn't been. Things work up to the kit itself. As in, I can use the midi adapter. The xbox swears I have a drum kit hooked up but I cant get it to see any hits. I THINK I set up the module properly (I switched back to the 10 because it seems like I cant change the pad values on the Strike but I could be missing something there too.) but I am getting nothing.

I am hoping one of you know what I am missing or what I need to do to get me drumming again. I miss it. I cant sing and my stubby fingers aren't built for guitar or bass haha. Thanks and I apologize in advance if Ive simply missed a post that can tell me all.

P.S. I have read through some posts regarding DLC and one specifically about buying the digital version of the game when the physical was already owned. So...I owned the physical but my system is old. It was having a hard time reading the disk. I finally broke down and bought the digital version and, low and behold, i had a TON of DLC for the old games ready to be installed, some from old RB games (flyleafs I'm so sick, for example) and some I know I bought before. I don't know why, just thought it worth mentioning.
