I am in my early 30s and male. I am a little too old for the bar scene...its just not really me. I have tried Bumble BFF and let's just say I found it to be not really effective. I enjoy waterfalls, hiking, photography, movies, stand-up comedy and the casino. Problem is doing these alone is getting old after awhile. I am also from Syracuse which is kind of "clicky". Hence, why I am looking to venture outside of SYR. I am only like an hour or so away! Any recommendations on how to make new friends in Rochester? Most of my friends are married (with or without kids) and/or moved out of the area. TIA!

Also, if someone can speak to what the dating scene here is like, that can help me determine whether I expand my radius or not.
