I've put about 30 hours in so far and I've played tons of games like this before so I felt pretty experienced going in. After getting my ass handed to me on Standard for 20 hours (furthest I got was Energy Center) I switched to Easy and finally managed to win my first run but I just feel like this game is way harder than others of its genre.

I feel like I have to be doing something wrong and the game isn't supposed to be so difficult. I would get all S ranks for like the first 3 stages then just die by the enemies chipping away at me. The time I won was with a melee build on Guardian and the extra healing plus invincibility felt like the only way I got through. How the fuck do you get through that entire final fight without any healing? You're just really expected to be good enough to dodge 40 lasers every time they come out?

So I guess I'd appreciate any advice, even if it's just telling me this is just a skill issue.
