[T10] Bomber Design help!
Post Body

I reached T10 a while ago, and kept my ship design that has worked since T6 for me, and that I thought looked awesome. However, I've been having a lot of trouble recently staying alive.

My ship design consists of 6 rudders, 4 horizontal and 2 verticals to maintain maneuverability. About 8 forward thrusters and 2 pairs of up/down thrusters situated in the front of my ship. I have 4 Plasmas, 1 under each wing and 2 under the main body. I do not have triforce armor. I can easily remove the cannons and replace them with SMGs to become an interceptor, again with only 4 guns though. This is my design.

By no means a small ship, I have decent speed and agility, but nowhere near thruster sticks, but I've noticed despite all my electro plating my ship gets shredded. Despite having four weapons, I find myself doing very little damage to tanky block-robos that have no electro plating at all. My Plasma cannons just do maybe 6-7% a volley while each of their SMGs can potentially take off 1/3 of my ship.

I basically have trouble with this ship on any map other than 1A and 2A, since the moment I get spotted I get shot out of the sky, even though I'm with my group.

Am I reaching the point where I should really just stop trying to do a frame that's armored with electro plating and just make a thruster stick bomber? Abandoning the slow wings? Or should I try just making the entire bomber thicker to try and soak up more damage? Or should i just abandon flying and go for a gunbed?
