I have been using Tastyworks primarily for almost two years since they launched, and the trading I do is typically overnight trades in various ETF’s by selling various spreads again them to collect a small amount in a relatively safe way out of the money position.
I’ve recently been attracted to Robinhood and have been trying it out and I am loving not giving up anything for the fees TW charges, especially on my type of trading style. The executions I’ve received all seem good and I haven’t run into many issues. I primarily trade in mobile even with TW so that’s a wash as well.
So my question is, are there any big reasons I should avoid Robinhood? I see so many threads bashing the broker but I’ve yet to have an issue. I’ve discussed various things with their customer service and while it took a day or two for a response, they answered my questions very well.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated, thank you!
