Accepting a gig

When accepting a gig, why do certain orders get “taken away?” I’ll accept gigs, and then all of a sudden I get an alert that someone else took it. Why? Am I too far from store? What is the issue? Doesn’t matter if it’s a local stop right near me minutes away, or a store 30 mins away.
