Hey R users.
I am a big fan of R and recently have been using Tidymodels after using Caret and Tidyverse for quite some time.
I have to say I am a bit disappointed with the package. I feel that:
1) does not integrate with the Tidyverse as smoothly as it should (there are even some redundancies from one to the other).
2) the organization of the workflow is messy.
I always find myself just turning to use the base package of the model I want to estimate.
However, I concede that I may be wrong and that I am simply not catching the "vibe" of the package as well as I should. So I would like to ask if other people feel the same or if there is any advice to appreciate the situations where the package is useful.
Thanks
