Myself and my father will be participating in the event, which I personally think will be a ton of fun getting to know the vehicle and Rivian as a brand. We've had our preorder in for quite a while on an R1S, but that raises an interesting question for me. Given the growing presence of R1S on public roads, will the FMD event be bringing R1S vehicles to order holders or just R1Ts? Either way it'll be damn cool because I'm thinking about buying an R1T for myself over my cybertruck reservation, while my father keeps the R1S.

Also, what exactly do these drives entail, and does anyone here have a report from their FMD? I want to prep my dad the best I can because he's never driven electric before, despite me owning a Model S.

EDIT: I have realized the drive is Sunday, not Saturday. I can't read a calendar apparently.
