Tried a bunch of new things this week - bright coral red, oranges, a ruffled jumpsuit with a sheer paisley top underneath.
The jumpsuit is probably the biggest risk I took - I never feel like tops under clothes that don’t necessarily need tops look good on me! However, I’ve seen so many posts here of people rocking vests and pinafores and other outfits with multiple layers that I had to try it. I still feel a little too fussy for me to call the outfit a win, but I’ve broken the ice and can try other things ❤️
I love both of the red outfits - I got the red shoes and the lobster chinos on the same day. I didn’t buy them intending to pair them, but they really work together. Also, Lobster Chinos! I like the cheekiness of the boob cutout on the top and then the layers of crisp red button up and soft butter yellow draping from the scarf.
The red on orange on pink outfit is what I’m wearing today - the skirt is flowy and light, the pattern is amazing and varied - I can see so many possibilities for outfits! Today I chose a watermelon cardigan and a true coral red camisole. There’s gold threads woven throughout the skirt so I added a heavier draped chain necklace that I seldom wear. The theme is vibrant and loud, but it still somehow feels soft and feminine.
