Went back to the grey jersey pants armed with some of the suggestions from my outfit fail post.

1. Black cotton knit buttoned crop top, gold/black belt, gold jewelry, red bag and shoes. This one feels good to me - knit material of the crop top plays well with the jersey material of the pants, overall the outfit feels like I got some elements of shoe/hide in. Not 100% sold on the gold choker, maybe a smaller chain would be more harmonious, but I like the pop of colour and different textures. I would wear this one to work happily!

2. Vavavoom slinky black sequined tank - this material is clingy but flattering, I fell confident, not self-conscious wearing it. I love the contrast with the homey jersey material and the gold accents on the shoes, belt, and jewelry dress it up. I work a spiked gold toned/rhinestone necklace to suit the edginess of the shirt. This would be a good date night outfit

3. Graphic road burn tank, coral conch belt, sneakers - this is what I actually wore today and it was both comfortable and fun. The belt is intriguing and dresses it up slightly, but the graphic tee and sneakers keep it really casual. Great at home outfit!
