Hey everyone! I am a really big fan of the novels and the Peter Jackson trilogy. I watched Rings of Power once and wasn’t sure. I just started again and I was really critical and disappointed. The first scene of Episode one is Galadriel being childishly bullied about her paper boat?! Doesn’t really compare to the epic opening of the opening battle in Fellowship, which draws you in. I feel like this is just another show that throws a ton of characters at you and tries to make you feel invested in their story, without moving the main plot along, which is why we are actually here. But, since we already know the end result, is challenging to do. Make us care how the events of the books/movies happened! Please let me know your thoughts.
