Installing a wired Ring doorbell?
Post Body

We have a battery Ring doorbell (one of the original ones to ever come out) and we want to upgrade to a new one with 1080p and wired for better quality. The problem is our side door has no doorbell wiring, but there's a 3 gang light switch right on the opposite side of the wall about 8 inches above where the doorbell is mounted...is it possible to run a wire off that switch and get the right volt(??) of continuous power to the Ring?

Should I just invest in a new battery powered Ring and a solar block to keep it charged?
