The most common advice here is 'just get in and play, you'll learn a lot as your colony gets wiped out...'
I'm only 4 hours in on my first game and I don't want to get wiped out! My little colony has made some mistakes but nothing we can't handle! They are starting relationships and met a dude and he was a jerk but then we met another dude and he was a jerk too but we've been doing great anyway and I don't want to lose my colony! stay strong little dudes!
