Looking for a mod that allows creating multiple player owned ai settlements

I was wondering if there was a mod that essentially allows you to expand your faction by creating other settlements and letting the ai run it until youre there so it doesn't hog up all your cpu/ram.
I have my first settlement built up a bit so I decide I want to expand. I create a caravan and they become pioneers who go create a new settlement. I can leave the pioneers alone for a bit and theyll essentially create a base similar to the way the ai have their bases. Is that a thing?
