elite bmx level requirements?

I just got an elite (900) bmx park bike for hitting level 25. Is BMX different than the rest of the careers? As in: you don't need to hit level 40 before having the chance to get elite bmx bikes? Or did I just get a bike I wasn't supposed to?
If you can infact start getting elite bmx bikes at level 25, does bmx still go up to level 50 as well or does it have a higher cap?
