So as I couldn’t update my last post, I decided to delete it and make a new one.

This is a even more simplified way.

You can use 100% acetone, 99,9% isopropyl alcohol or 190 proof grain alcohol as solvent. Choose whatever you are comfortable with!

Equipment needed: 14 grams of shake/buds 150 ml of 100% acetone, isopropyl alcohol or 190 proof grain alcohol 100 ml grain alcohol anyway Distilled water Rice cooker Device for hot oil bath - like frites frier for example Candy thermometer Coffee filters 2 glass jars 1 metal dish

DONT USE PLASTIC EQUIPMENT. Solvent vapors can be harmful so proceed with caution.

The recipe in short: 1. Put your weed in a jar and cover it with the solvent you choose. 2. Strain it out with a coffee filter and put the clean solvent in a metal dish. Add 1/2 inch distilled water to it. 3. Add the dish to a double boiler setup. Wait until the temp of the water in the dish hits 100C - this means the solvent is boiled off. 4. Take out the dish and put it in a ice cold bath - add ice to the water in the dish. Keep stirring the water with fork to catch the floating RSO pieces in the water. Once the water is cooled down below 10C, dump the water. As you see the water is milky - all this dirt was previously boiled in your oil. Wash the dish with the sticked oil on the bottom once more with ice cold water. 5. Put the dish back on a double boiler just to melt the oil. Add 60ml 190 proof alcohol to it and put the dish in freezer for 1h. This will crystallise the waxes. Strain through a coffee filter - check what it catches. This is another dirt we previously boiled in the oil ;) 6. Once you strained the cold ethanol, back on double boiler and boil it off - your oil is done but not yet decarbed. 7. Put the dish with the ready oil in a hot oil bath at 120C. Stir it with a fork - it will bubble. This is the decarbing process visually going on. When the bubbles start to dim and the bubbling is more gentle - take it out. It’s ready. If you wait till it stops bubble at all, you will have CBN rich oil perfect for couchlocking / sleeping.
