I've had a bit of an existential crisis lately.
I've been giving about 10% of my income to charity for 12 years. I spread it over about a dozen.
My lawyer pointed out one of the charities wasn't great about actually giving money to the actual recipients.
I did a deep dive and it seems like almost all the main charities are just fronts to pay executives massive salaries and not much trickles down.
Anyone have verifiable "good" charities to turn me onto. I prefer things with veterans and children.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Thanks for the advice. I ended up talking with a couple of places recommended and have a good plan.
