I just ran the numbers, and it looks like I’m on track to retire in 12 years! I don’t have anyone in real life to talk to about this, so I figured I would make a post!
My net worth currently is about 600k and my expenses are fairly low. I started with $10k at 20 years old, and I’m so happy I learned about investing early on. I’m now of the opinion that getting rich is mostly luck, not hard work.
Nope you’re not. I was in a similar situation as yours when I was 25 then life happened. Got married.. two kids.. realized my expenses are now 5 times of what used to be when I was single. Also, need to save more for their college.. nannies.. Montessori etc. etc. I mean you can leave them on their own.. but it isn’t fair.. need to give them a better life than we got.
