Iām a black American and I want a non-bias view on why Rhodesia failed.
the sanctions were placed because of the apartheid and massive racism. You're acting like they came out of nowhere and were just random lol.
This is like calling the schoolyard bully a victim for getting his ass kicked, and just pretending the years of bullying never happened.
They didn't have the manpower to do that, and didn't have access to global finance to import the manpower/equipment due to embargoes.
but the Army and ISI were able to hold the line against complete collapse.
But what they're propping up isn't really worth shit, looking at Pakistan of today.

We werent too slow to resist. There was a huge amount of resistance. We got sold out by leaders like Lobengula, and quickly overpowered by Europeans who had military and massive financial advantage.
