Please I have a proplem that drives me crazy, please help!!

When I use both structural column or architectural column and join it with a brick wall then define a another wall that contains only the finish layer with a thickness say 0.02 m to add it as a interior finish to the column and the wall that's already joined together, the fuckin revit make that finish wall cut the brick wall and drive through the column to the end, also this make the quantity take off is just inaccurate, just whyyyy?! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
