Beginner, how to use some form of layers or something in order to add materials on Twinmotion
Post Body

Ok this is quite specific but I've never used Revit before and am trying to speed run for a project. I created a project years ago using Rhino and rendering with Twinmotion and I wanted to do this again but use it as an opportunity to learn Revit for the first time and then render the project using Twin motion.

Basically I wanted to know what precautions I should take with designing to make sure the rendering process in Twinmotion runs smoothly.

I'm currently downloading the Twinmotion link for Revit so I can link them together so edits made on Revit will update on Twinmotion. But my biggest query is when I did this last time with rhino as soon as I went to render I added a tiny marble texture to the front patio and then suddenly my entire project was made of marble, this was when I realised I needed to assign everything to layers based on what materials were being used for different parts. So I'm basically enquiring about how to do that or equivalent on Revit before I start this project so I don't run into the same problem.

Also, if anyone knows of any good guides on youtuber of a project from start to finish of making on Revit so I can get a workflow guide of how to go about this that would be much appreciated.
