I was randomly trying to think of this book today, and checked my “read” list on Goodreads, and could not find it for the life of me in my hundreds of read books this year. So I am requesting some help.

What I can remember of this book, this girl gets randomly picked up and removed from her home and 4-5 male childhood best friends, I believe because of the death of her mother? Few years later, she returns after being forced to take care of herself the whole time, driving her motorcycle all the way back home after her father’s death. I remember her case worker offers to drive her there, but she was kinda skeptical of people? She gets back home and lives in the house of one of the boys, being adopted/taken care of by his parents, and they reunite and have this beautiful story after the fact.

Another main detail I remember is all MC’s are sitting is some sort of circle discussing what happened during their time apart, and one of the MMC’s isn’t talking because of a stutter that he is embarrassed by, but talks for the FMC.

I think that all I can think of, so here we go! I hope we can find it! 😭
