I'd had a copy of this book before, but it sat on my shelf unread for years and years. In a breakup, I left all my books behind. For context of the time that this book appeared, I was having some very strange life experiences after getting sick with covid. I was 33, and lived next to a giant 333 sign. I had kind of opened myself up to the ideas of manifestation this particular set of months. I also heard a voice on a different morning say "The Kundalini!" just as I woke. I googled that...
The apartment I lived at was street level downtown in a major city. Any homeless yahoo or random person could have chucked this and it land on my doorstep. The weird part was that these passages were highlighted. When I read the book, it was full of ideas I had been thinking about for a long time. It affirmed my thoughts. The book smelled like old dust and incense. None of my friends claimed responsibility. I didn't own an orange highlighter, so it wasn't me in an altered state playing tricks on myself.
What became of this strange time in my life? Some extremely negative things happened after this which propelled me into a new, better life. I have a hard time making life transitions, so it's almost like the universe forced me to.
One more note about this time: One night before this occurrence, as I was trying to sleep, I had a "dream" that I was sucked up out of my bed through a tube into some sort of higher realm. I was in a giant human size aquarium inside of a metal craft. I was floating under water trying to get my bearings and assess the situation. Things were blurry. I sensed multiple entities around the tank. The words "He's not ready." were telepathically observed and I was flushed back down the tube into my body. The entire dream was 5-7 seconds.
