I recently left my current job and found something similar elsewhere. The role I'm applying for has to do with quality assurance. I've spent the past week and a half researching resume tips, going over this sub-reddit as well as r/jobs and I think I've found a happy medium.
This resume is tailored to the job I'm interested in (I hope lol), however looking at it I can't help but think it looks too wordy and I'm scared recruiters won't take a second look at it. I ran it through Jobscan.co a few times to see if it'll pass any ATS systems, ultimately with a result of 55%... this is the first time I've used this site, so I'm not sure how trustworthy it is.
Also, what's the consensus on cover letters? The job posting lists it as optional but I get the feeling I still might need one.
I'd love to hear someone's thoughts on my current resume. Thank you!
