I completed an undergrad thesis program at my university primarily thinking I'd like to go to grad school but I'm having strong second thoughts on that and most likely won't. But I'd still like some value to come out of the project. It required me to develop a thesis, do research and construct an argument all on my own. I wrote a well over 20 page thesis and successfully defended to an academic committee so I feel like the experience was fairly rigorous and valuable but is it something an employer would care about? For context, I'd like to get into media (e.g staff writer, editorial positions) or something like content writing/ tech writing or even freelance for a while. I do have related experience to that (but not much) so is it worth it to include it on my resume and how best could I use it?
