Tips On Resident Interaction
Post Body

So I am a fairly new RA, I was hired beginning of spring semester when the RA before switched schools. I am having a hell of a time doing my weekly resident interactions and just getting to know my residents in general. So far I've only had 3 of my residents attend an Initiative I held. I knock on their doors every week, I send out weekly emails, I message them in groupme. I say hi in the dining halls. And yet I could only tell you the names of 6 of them.

I wondering if it's just the fact that I came in as a replacement halfway through, or if I'm not doing enough. But any tips on how y'all get resident interactions would be greatly appreciated!
