I didn’t know that you had to stop calling your son or daughter by those words if you, God forbid, have the heartbreaking experience of having to outlive your own child. I also didn’t know that just because you didn’t give physical birth to a kid that you raise, that doesn’t make you their parent. That’s news to all step parents, and also all adoptive parents.

There’s also the lie in there about Joe cheating on his wife with Jill, he didn’t meet until three years after the car crash that killed his wife. Clearly facts don’t matter to CONservatives.
