Z axis steps per mm calculation.
Post Body

Having problems with my z axis calculation which is doing my head in!

Threaded rod pitch is 2mm (5 threads in 10mm measured which matches what I ordered, can confirm with photo) Nema17 with 200 steps per revolution Ramps board with a4988 @ 16 micro step drivers

Using that I calculate 1600steps/mm program that into marlin and upload to the arduino (or genuino as I am outside US).

However if I use pronterface and do an z /- 1mm it moves around 4mm each move.

The motors turn about 180 degrees which is what I'd expect, but the axis moves 4mm, not the expected 1mm

I'm not a complete idiot, but have likely missed something obvious?
