Managing ooze with a custom gcode?
Post Body

Having pretty typical dual extrusion ooze, looking for ideas.

It was working before, but for some reason when I set my skirt to 3-4 loops and make it as tall as my object, only the first layer prints the loop with both materials (1-2 loops of each material). I get 3-4 loops with the first head only. Boo. I'm using PLA in the first extruder and PVA in the second for support material and support interface only.

So I'm wondering if there's a way to add a tool change gcode that uses something like the M114 command to get the position of the print head, make a few controlled moves (priming tower, wipe over brush near origin, etc), then move back to the position obtained by the M114 command?

Any other methods to control dual extrusion ooze? I'm up to like 30mm tool change retraction, and I can't use the slic3r setting that lowers the temp of the unused hot end 5-10 degrees because the thermistor on the second hot end is drunk when both print heads and the bed are heated. Kisslicer pro might work but I don't use it, not sure if it's worth the $40. Might need to switch though, first problem I've run into using slic3r.
