Hey All,
Sorry for the lack of updates recently. Life has had me busy and then came Covid. I work in IT and have been putting in tons of hours.
I've had an update baking for some time that focuses on giving more moderator controls for individual subreddits. Some of these features focus on cutting down on summons spam.
The update is done but I haven't deployed it yet. Hoping to have it out by this weekend.
The new features for subreddits include:
Title Keyword Filter - You can set a list of keywords that will cause the bot to ignore a post if the title contains any of them.
Only Allow One Summons Per Post - Once someone summons the bot, any additional summons will send a PM to the user linking to the original response.
Delete Additional Summons - When enabled along with the last option the bot will delete any comments that attempt to summon the bot.
Block Summons When Bot Leaves An Auto Response - Once the bot leaves an automatic response no summons will be allowed. User will receive a PM linking to the auto response.
Lock Detected Repost - If the bot detects a repost it can lock the post for you
Remove Detected Repost - If a repost is detected the bot can remove the post with a custom removal reason.
Mark Posts as OC - If the bot thinks a post is OC it can mark it as such.
Automatic Config Updates For New Features - When I add or remove new config options the bot will add them to your config for you. It will also send a message to modmail with the new options.
