So I've been in this sub for a while and see people consistently posting their watches and their collections, but I never see a lot of gold. Is there a reason for this? Is it because the plating is too far off from gen ? Is it because it's easier to tell that it is a rep because it's gold ? I'm just trying to find out because honestly my favorite color is gold and a lot of the reps that I do research on I would like for them to be gold. Of course I have some must haves stainless models on my list but I love gold and the way it shines when the light hits. So I was just wondering why gold reps are frowned upon.
