Question about cleaning & polishing the crown on 126600

Hi group.

So,m I purchased a 126600 Sea Dweller from a recommended TD on here that unfortunately didn’t hit the mark. I have been working on the watch, but something I could use guidance on is the crown. When I received the watch, the crown was very rough to the touch. I used a fine grade scotchbrite pad around the outside of it to smooth it down, but I can see it’s still rough and appears almost unfinished between the grooves. What can I use to get in between these grooves and clean it up? Thanks in advance!
