So it turns out a lot of you guys were right in saying that I would lose my hand due to restricted blood circulation. I guess my watch was on too tight and I guess I owe a lot of you an apology for dismissing your concerns.

I won't go in to the details of how it led to this, but the short of it is that after a few days I lost feeling and then total movement of my left hand. The doctor said my had was unable to be saved, and so went ahead with amputation. Another bummer is that they broke my bracelet removing the watch.

Two good things came from all this however. First the doctor complimented me on my watch and I could tell he had no idea it was a rep. The second good thing is that he made a temporary strap for me from this sticky bandage tape stuff that was a perfect 20mm. I can now continue to wear my watch throughout my recovery and stay true to my initial claim last week that I would not be removing the watch for the foreseeable future.

P.S. I've asked my TD about the LHD Tudor options, any other good LHD reps I should know about? I'm thinking of maybe becoming a south paw.
