Post Body

Last month we had a building inspection and they weren’t too happy with the condition of my apartment. I’ve been dealing with the depression, and several traumatic instances happened to me over the past few months and overtime am I seemed , I seemed to have to stop caring. they wanted to evict me because of said issues which have been rectified shortly after receiving the notice but then I saw a text from my landlord, saying that I will be responsible for a pest control bill because of the condition of my apartment.

Meanwhile, this entire building has had pest control issues since day one of me moving in. It seems like no matter what condition my apartment is in wether absolutely spotless or a pigsty: I get mice, cockroaches, and at one point even bedbugs. I have had to put down traps for both cockroaches and mice. I spray for bugs, and I even put mouse repellent in the corners of my living room. so it’s not like I want this to happen, but it just does. And now I’m being stuck with a bill that I am unable to pay.

Is this legal?
