My landlord is texting me, again, about a noise complaint. He keeps saying that the neighbor is sending him audio recordings of my dog barking and scratching.
I leave the house two times a day for 15-20 minutes at a time, and the dog is in a crate during that time. This is the ONLY time the dog barks more than like once in a row. 15 minutes, at 11am and 3pm on week days... I think they are waiting for me to leave to send these.
I am not sure what else to tell my landlord other than we are doing our best, I am working with a trainer to help with the dog, and it has been 10 days since we even got the dog. One of the ways to even deal with this kind of behavior is short periods of time like this. He has said that i need to take care of it ābefore they call the authoritiesā... itās not like the dog is barking for hours at a time, yesterday I had to run to the store so maybe it was like 30 minutes, but I was clocked back in to work within an hour, with a once again silent dog. Is it really that big of a deal that they can āgo to the authoritiesā?
Edit to add: maybe I should blast music when I leave... they do pretty frequently.
