Is this normal? I rent in a renovated hotel complex.

Iām pretty sure my vents are pushing shit into my apartment. Looking to get my entire security deposit back plus more. Any help, guidance, insight is super helpful.
Image posted is from vacuuming an 8/10ā rug. I have no pets and stayed away every other day, or multiple days away at a time. My studio apartment is less than square 600ā
Again any insight would greatly help me recoup my security deposit
