I just recently went through the whole process of signing a new lease for a new apartment. The landlord was super responsive and kind when I toured it and said I may even be able to get the keys a little before if professional cleaning wrapped up early, but she would reach out the following monday.
That was 2 1/2 weeks ago. I followed up about a week later asking then-no response for a week. Called on Tuesday then again Friday following week and left a message both times-no response. I emailed again this morning- still nothing. Again she was really responsive like within couple of hours.
We both signed the lease, I paid the deposit and first months rent for august so I donβt think Im being scammed. I even know people who live in the complex and have heard them mention they love the landlord.
I move in THREE days, should I just show up to the leasing office? Why would they be doing this?
