I dont check my mail. I have no reason to. Quite honestly i just let it build up and then toss it. Today amazon shipped me something usps. So while going through my mail to find it. I found a letter addressed to my new landlord. Decide to go through it all and found 2 others. Turned out they sent the water bill to my address. The bills now overdue and landlord is threatening me with paying the late fees.

Clarification water and sewage in my city is paid by homeowner not the tentant. Bill is not in my name. Has nothing to do with me. It is the homeowners responsibility not the tentant to pay this bill. If I were to move out landlord is still responsible for water. If i were to let the water run for 24/7 landlord is responsible. If someone else rented after me landlord is responsible.
