I apologize in advance for the rant, but why would someone spend a week messaging back and forth setting up a meet only to ghost on the last day? It’s so frustrating and cowardly.

The last time it happened, I was in contact with a guy who wanted me to give a massage to his SO for her birthday (supposedly last Monday.) I’m formally trained and offered to arrange my time and equipment (table linen oils etc) and come to them. No expectation that it would evolve into anything more than a therapeutic massage unless she wanted it to (which he suggested she would. ) It’s something that I enjoy and is always enjoyed by the women on my table. There was no pressure on my part and he said she was all excited about it. Then just before he would give me a place to meet them…nothing. Silent running. Wouldn’t answer my texts or messages. Zippo.

I can understand it if either of them got cold feet, but if that’s the case then man up and say so. Don’t leave someone hanging who has cleared his schedule and arranged all his gear…

I would never just bail and then ghost someone if something came up and I couldn’t make an appointment.

The very same thing happened to me a month or so ago from a guy who was bringing his wife into town the next night and we arranged for him to text as soon as he got the room number. Tried texting when he was scheduled to arrive and nothing. Bubkas Not even the next day saying why he didn’t call. Nothing worse than that.

I’m tempted to name names but I’ll stay out of that $h!t $how for now.

C’mon people…grow up and have a little decency!

(And if any real women want a professional quality massage … for free with table coming to you, let me know. But please don’t ghost!)
