I’ll start with the TL;DR: reno transplants, what do you love and what do you hate about living in Reno?
So I need to get the hell out of southern california. I grew up here and obviously we got the beach and all that, but it’s crowded and expensive and I’m more of a mountains person anyway. I lived in Davis and Yuba City for the last 5 years and really liked it up there, especially yuba city.
I’m applying for nursing schools and my top choice is UNR. But a big part of that is because I’ve always liked the area, I visited a fair amount over the last few years. Y’all are close to Tahoe and I love the whole moonrocks area for off-roading. I love the outdoors and don’t need to be somewhere with a thriving city life. Also just want to get out of California tbh.
Any thoughts are welcome! I’ve already been roasted by all my friends for moving there feel free to let loose
