Hey luvs- getting back into the amazing world of fantasy, faires, and freedom!! I’m traveling from out of state in the corp world for work but found out about the Texas ren faire the day before and went last weekend and Luv’d it. I’m planning to go back a few weekends this trip and may make a trip yearly. I don’t kno all the terms but since I don’t have garb (yet) I’ll be going as a common outsider.

My question is- how do I go about becoming included and making friends?

I love the lil groups and going by myself was ok but I have many questions. I want to make sure I show respect, and I want to build costumes and branch out. We have some faires in my home state (Florida) that I plan on visiting yearly as well. But I need some guidance please.

Im happy to make friends with anyone, even outside these 2states and the country. I’m a bit quiet and shy at first but I do warm up quickly!! TIA 💋
