And while I was there, there were a couple of Relgious protesters, condemning us and telling us of our sins. Luckily next to them was the MCC, a LGBT inclusive church. So there been aspects of groups in religion that are supportive and wouldn't cause me trauma

But it upsets me a great deal on how as a gay person we are used as a scapegoat from oegasnied religion. That we are a cause of the downfall of civilisation, that they take one verse of the Bible to condemn us

The bible says more about the evils of divorce, the abomination of mixed fabrics and shellfish, the fact women are even allowed right to express themselves and so much about allowing women to be sold into slavery or they are unclean from menstruation , womens education the list goes on

I dont see these protesters at courthouse arguing agains divorce, or remarriage of the downfall of civilisation

Religous groups aim at gay and trans people because we are Feasable, we are much easier to condemn than everyone else
