End of Round 1 We all dash for the relic. His Dark Watcher shoots my Druid for 1 damage.
End of Round 2 His Bone Stalker grabs the Relic - A Cinquedea - and dashes away. The Questing Knight enters the fray and damages one Bone Stalker, disables another, & Commands the Druid. The Cleric kills the bone stalker and summons the Spirit Weapon which damages another Bone Stalker. A Bone Stalker damages and removes the Spirit Weapon. Dark Watcher shoots the Druid a couple more times, doing more damage. Druid fails to either heal herself or shift into Bear Form! But she does land a Binding hit on the Dark Watch with Crushing Vines!
End of Round 4 The Bone Stalker with the Relic hands it off to the Dark Watcher. The Dark Watcher disables the Druid with his longbow! Another Bone Stalker finishes her off! Another Bone Stalker Disables and kills the Sabertooth with two Gores! The Cleric heals themself and disables a Bone Stalker. The Knight kills the disabled Bone Stalker and disables another. It's not looking great for the Advocates!
End of Round 5 The Dark Watcher misses with both shots! Bone Stalkers do some damage to the Knight and Cleric - the Knight has now taken 3 damage and I'm worried about my heavy hitter while the Cleric has 2 damage. The Advocates Disable two more Bone Stalkers!
End of Round 6 I'm really worried about my Knight here. I win initiative and forego finishing off the Cleric's disabled Bone Stalker to engage the Dark Watcher so he loses his ranged attacks against the Knight. The Cleric swings away and deals 1 damage, using the remaining AD to summon another Spirit Weapon who hits with both attacks but fails to do damage. The Dark Watcher attempts to flee but fails his bind roll. He then performs a successful hit with the Bone Knife but misses with the Cinquedea. The Knight Disables the last active Bone Stalker and kills the other.
End of Round 7 The Dark Watcher disables the Cleric and shoots the Knight - the Knight has 1 health left. The Knight rushes in and deals one more damage to the Dark Watcher. The knight is nearly disabled and the Dark Watcher is damaged with both uses of Murder of Crows expended. The next initiative roll will likely determine the outcome of the game, as long as none of the Bone Stalkers or Cleric make their recovery rolls - which they don't, of course.
End of Round 8 The Knight wins initiative and focus-attacks the Dark Watcher, taking him down! Bone and Darkness fail their recovery rolls and the last round consists of mopping up.
Great game! Starting off, I definitely felt that Bone & Darkness had the advantage and it really hurt losing the Druid and Sabertooth before either really did anything - but the Bind the Druid did manage really won me the game as it allowed my Knight and Cleric to rush in and engage at the end, preventing the Dark Watcher from kiting me. Even still, it really came down to the final round.
Next game, we plan on playing Pigs vs The Lone Guard on a bridge over a crevasse. Stay tuned!
