After Church War Arc, Roland turns into Hitler, the whole story becomes an edgelord's fantasy

Any political figure that has slightly different opinion than him , gets poisoned/murdered. He needs to demolish the kingdom of dawn too.
Its like he does 180degree and breaks his character all on a sudden. I've read reveerend insanity so ain't against mass murder but at least make it plausible.
The story becomes very lackluster after church was arc.
I'm dropping. It was fun. Not anymore.
