I love my gf so much and we’ve been dating for 10 months now and everything has gone great, she makes me so happy and she expressed to me I make her feel the same way. However, since before we even started dating, she has always expressed how attractive she thinks several different celebrities are.

She even did it right before I asked her to be my gf, she mentioned how Bruno Mars was the only short guy she’d fuck. Several times since then she goes on decently long talks about how attractive she thinks other celebrities are and lists the things she finds attractive about them and sends vids/pics of them shirtless, in their underwear, etc. I have mentioned to her about 3 times about how it makes me feel and each time she says “it’s not like I’m ever going to meet them” and then tells me she’ll stop. It honestly does make me feel insecure considering the fact that these dudes look nothing like me.

Even when I’m with her and her friends they’ll talk about celebs in a sexual manner like I’m not there. A couple nights ago, I did something I never wanted to do, i mentioned a celeb I thought was attractive while on FaceTime w my gf. I said “I forgot how fine Alexandra Daddarrio is, I haven’t seen her in anything in a while”. My gf immediately scrounged her face up and held it like that for a couple seconds as if she was bothered but didn’t say anything.

I also can’t help but think about the type of stuff she says when I’m not around if she’s willing to disrespect me like this right in front of my face. When we first met my gf told me all of her insecurities and I’ve tried and successfully healed her of them according to her; but all she has done is cause insecurities to arise within myself. Do you guys think I am being insecure? Is my girlfriend being ignorant? Where do I go from here?

TL;DR: my gf keeps obsessing over celebs around me even though she said she’d stop multiple times.
